Atheists for change is a group for Atheists who are sick of theism and want to see changes in the way churches are awarded special treatment by our governments . THE GROUP RULES:
1. This group is for atheists and friends, meaning.. you don't have to be an atheist but you must behave yourself just like everyone else. That means no trolling, spamming, no blocking of admins, No non atheist related or political posts, baiting, bullying, encouraging someone to commit suicide or to otherwise self-harm---and NO proselytizing.
2. No hate speech. Victims of hate speech may seek redress via civil or criminal law. Hate speech is speech, writing, gesture or conduct that may incite violence, prejudice or intimidation against individuals based on gender, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or disability (which includes mental disabilities).
3. Do not report Atheists for change content to Facebook. Instead, report offensive or objectionable content to the admins. Admins are listed below. Keep your content within the guidelines of the Facebook TOS, which you can find here: https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms
4. English please.
5. Debates are welcome, if it goes south and someone starts ad hominems please let the admins know; please don't assume that we've seen it, don't care and have ignored it.
6. NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content, such as gory images or sexual content should be marked at the top of the post with "Not Safe For Work" or some other wording that lets others know. Sexual content is okay as long as it's not pornographic. (For example, you can freely discuss sex as long as it's not "sexting". Keep that shit private. Talking about the sexual habits of hyenas (or man) is fine, but trying to talk sexual to or about another member is not the kind of content we strive for.
7. Profanity! It's fine. The word "profane" means that something is not holy or godly; that you're offending god or a religion. We are under no obligation to respect religious ideas. But I do hope that we can respect people, but not always their ideas.
